+2 to Submission
Stop any Strike with "Rope" in the name.
Add 1 card with "Hell" or "Fire" in the name from your discard pile to your hand.

Compendium / Rulings

Ruling – In the instance of Brimstone rolling his Technique and losing the turn; Brimstone does not have a chance to use his gimmick against a Finish. Because it can only be done during his turn.

In the case of a “Stop Finish” being hit against him during his own turn he does not have appropriate timing to discard it as it is resolving (during finish roll). However, if there was a stipulation such as a Buddy Building Match, where Finishes stick on field, you would be able to discard them after resolving.

Note – The turn ends when both players agree, so Brimstone may play a card, see that his card has been stopped, and then choose the stop that hit his card as the target for his gimmick before the turn ends.

Multi Man Rules – This is one of those old worded competitors that really suffer in new multi man rules. Your target for gimmick is going to be the person you have chose for that Crowd Meter, every time. Keep in mind you may change this target at the advance of each Crowd Meter to another player.

The “Headbutt” is a tunneled effect, Caveman’s skull is too thick!

Compendium / Rulings

Intent over Written – Caveman back with weird interactions. Similar to Devious Choke lines, the opponents gimmick is only “Off” while you have your applicable keywords in play. The weird interaction here is the copying of the gimmick prior to its blanking. This is sort of the first passive ability that is holding onto a previous state. So Caveman V2 with 2 sticks and a Fire will have your Gimmick added on while the cards are actively on board, and you will not.

Just imagine him bonking you over the head with a rock, and taking your stuff; then you wake up on board clear and steal it back!

Prehistoric VS Breakouts – Just like Dr. Jake Hill, and Dosmo, your board will clear, and then the on breakout will happen; making any sticks and fires you had in play prior to breakout applicable targets to put back into play.

Multi-Man Rules – This is a tunneled gimmick since it is in relation to cards being in play, similar to Mr. Snap. So if you have 2 sticks and a fire in BOTH tunnels you will be copying and blanking both opponents gimmicks. We wish you good luck on trying to start your fire.

NOTE: The top row of finishers for Chugganomics come with the trio Happy Birthday. They are a direct buff to the original on the bottom row. New Gimmick comes with the Old Finishes, so don’t miss out on Happy Birthday!

Q: If Chugganomics is against Kaiser Wolf, and Botch Chug is in the discard, is Kaiser Wolf’s gimmick active?
A: No, Kaiser Wolf must actively look at a hand, playing with both hands revealed is not the same text as looking at your opponents hand. (Chugganomics, 2021)

Q: How does Chugganomics work?
A: The top card of the deck is revealed in a period I like to call “Deck Sitting Still” which means whenever the deck is not currently being touched by a card, and or gimmick. So the card should be revealed Before, and After the initial draw phase of a turn, then before and after a card is played, and before and after a gimmick would touch the deck, however between all of these instances while the deck is “Not Sitting Still” you do not have to reveal the card. For example 360 Lariat, will flip the top card of the deck, and then shuffle two from discard; the two cards you draw do NOT need to be revealed, thus you have drawn 2 “Hidden Cards” and then you reveal the next card since card text has ended.
A New Gimmick: If you play the top card of your deck, you do not reveal the next top card, until all card effects have resolved.

Q: No seriously, how does Chugganomics Work?
A: Oh you must mean Pour One Out right? Well… Chugganomics is a fan of “Mutual Destruction” as you can see! The original creation of this effect was intended for players to “play a mini-game” when it hits, such as Rock Paper Scissors and revealing 0-3 fingers to denote how many were being committed to discard at the same time. Competitively speaking though, as long as both players decide to discard an amount it’s fine.

Q: You aren’t listening. How does he work? Like… Seriously? He must be going bankrupt or something with that theme park right?
A: I have been advised by my lawyers not to answer this question.
