Competitor – The Meeple’s Unholy Union

Power:             9
Technique:      6
Agility:             7
Strike:              8
Submission:    5
Grapple:        10

When your opponent uses their Gimmick from a roll, hitting a card, or added text, copy that effect.

Compendium / Rulings

Note: The possibilities with this competitor are truly endless… Just know it doesn’t necessarily copy a gimmick, it just copies a gimmicks “triggers.” So any static effect like Baanomenal One would not trigger a stat increase, however if Pride hits a spotlight you also get the Draw 2 discard 1. (You would not get the rest of the text of the card, even if a gimmick is counting Added Text, you would just trigger the Added Text portion.) This competitor is always “Going Second” and has to see an effect go off before he can copy it.

VS Cardboard Villain – From a roll is very vague terminology. In the case you would bump with Cardboard Villain, you will both discard a card instead of drawing (And specifically if Cardboard Villain draws the extra card for being 2 higher than your roll, you draw a card too).

VS Hammish Macdeath – If you are about to bump with a Hammish, Hammish can decide to add 2 and take a -1, which you will then have a choice to add 2 and take a -1. (Since Hammish’s gimmick has “May” in the copied text; we recommend you copy the gimmick though because it’s all value.) Making the turn roll a bump, again. Due to “No Infinites in SRG” These effects end there and you both would then draw a card for bump.

VS Hold the Line Harry – If Harry stops a card, Meeple will get to add a card under Harry’s parameters. If the stopped card is not a stop, finish, or skill requirement; Meeple may choose it for the target, because it is in the discard pile by the time the gimmick would trigger.

VS Abigail Fairy in Training – Abigail always goes first, then Meeple copies the effect. Meeple is an “Always Second” Competitor because he has to see the effect to copy it.

VS Bak Hurten – If Bak hits a Back card you both Draw 2 and are -2. If you hit a Back card only you draw 2 and are -2.

VS Big Daddy V2 and Brimstone – You only get to blow a relevant card up if they choose to blow something up first.

VS The Professor Matthew Smith – If Matt Smith stop’s a card, both of you discard 2 cards from your hand. If you stop a card, only you discard 2 cards.

VS The Face – If The Face’s Strike or Submission is stopped you both bury 2 in hand. But if he hits a Strike or Submission you both search for the same move type and put it on top of your decks.

VS The Great Outdoors – You play War twice. The first one Great Outdoors is looking for the higher number to add the card to her hand, the second time you are looking for the higher number to add the card to your hand.

VS Nanouk – You play Go Fish twice. The first one is Nanouk using his gimmick, the second one is You using Nanouks gimmick.

Chugganomics Personal Note – This competitor may challenge Evil Ed for the most rulings in the future… If you see any specific rulings you want interacted on here please leave a comment.
